Description

1964.5-1966 Ford Mustang 289 Aluminum Performance Radiator. MT Cars. Also fits Cougar and Comet models.

These COLD-CASE radiators are Tig welded 100 percent aluminum and absolutely beautiful.
Don't buy a 3 or 4 row aluminum radiator! It doesn't cool as good as these oversize 2 row models. Original fan shroud will mount with original mounting brackets.
These radiators are original appearing.

For the Black Powder-Coated version, use part # FOM564B. With our Night Rider Black series, you will be hard pressed to find a difference between an original versus a COLD-CASE.

I bought this radiator about a year ago for a 302 with 376hp. The radiator worked great anytime the weather was below 90 outside. If the weather was above 95 my car ran 200-212.
I have a 185 thermostat with a 1850cfm puller fan that goes on at 190f. The radiator is filled with green coolant and distilled water. I would prefer the temp to drop once the fan goes on. Watching the temp creep to 212 takes the fun out of the drive and I’m constantly watching the gauge. I know 212 isn’t crazy but I feel like it would continue to climb if the drive went longer. This wasn’t a one time incident but anytime the weather was above 95f.
I would say this is a great radiator for stock or something up to 350hp. Perhaps a fan with more cfm would have helped too. However I am looking for something with more cooling capacity. In conclusion the customer service is great and I feel like they are trying to make a good product.
